Frequent collaborator, Michael Lewis Architects, approached us to finish designs for the kitchen and two bath vanities for an Upstate New York home renovation. Little did we know the project would evolve into larger a creative journey of its own. The end result: another stellar Rowan build, and a new friend.

We were tasked with creating two handcrafted desks and a bookcase to blend seamlessly into their multi-purpose space. The design challenge was to emulate desks the clients had in their city dwelling while infusing a sense of novelty. Inspired by the old, but make it new.

A historic ivy-covered stone home was the perfect setting for a basement speakeasy. We crafted a custom tambour bar, a back bar, walnut storage closets, and perimeter bookcases with more storage.
